The Huntoon and Van Rensalier Underground Railroad Historic Site at 125 Broadway in Paterson, New Jersey was a stop in the larger Underground Railroad network community. This historic site is dedicated to preserving the stories and experiences of those who passed through this vital stop on their journey to freedom. Come learn about the brave men and women who risked everything to fight for their rights and the rights of others. This website provides a unique glimpse into the past and a chance to reflect on the ongoing struggle for equality.

Since 1996, the site of Huntoon's home has been a municipal landmark in the City of Paterson. In 2022, it received official recognition by the National Park Service Network to Freedom as one of a number of active Paterson ‘stops’ on the Underground Railroad.​
